Volumen
my nightmares subdue
reins in hand, she keeps them so
fearless rider
from which horrors cower
and beasts flee askew
my mares she subdues
with her quiet touch
and her mirthful laugh
my charming deity
most radiant in my crimson dusk
my darling cherub
my demons she chastens
their weariness she hastens
and she lays me bare in the field of dreams
where Elysian angels sing
of euphoria gold
of ecstacy sweet
for i would have been so blessed
to be granted a mere glimpse of heaven
in all my acquiescence of defeat
my oh my
that would have been a treat
